Center Grove High School
March 24, 2008
Last night I flew to Indianapolis so I could speak at the crack-o-dawn at Center Grove High School today. Despite having to be up at 5:30 am to speak at the school, it was all good. Our session was the first thing of the day, so the teen gals were fresh and ready to fight. Every junior and senior girl was in attendance, and it was quite a good time teaching all 500 or so how to go off to college and be their own best protector. After the program today, I was approached by several different groups of girls who had the idea to start a Girls Fight Back club. What a brilliant idea! If we started a network of clubs at high schools and colleges across the nation, would you all get involved?

Got something to say?

I attend Center Grove and I absolutely LOVED your session. It was great. I left the gym wanting someone to attack me jsut so i could show off my new moves. A lot of the girls I talked to felt the same way. We all loved your session. I thought about the club thing too. I think that is a great idea and I know that I would totally join the club if we had one and if I wasn’t graduating in May.
But seriously thank you for teaching all that you did. You were a real inspiration and I enjoyed every minute of your talk and I’m so glad that I learned how to Fight Back because I never thought I would be able to, but now I’m conifdent that I can. Thank you again so much!
